A modest rudd of 13 cm and 31 g came to hand on Hjälmaren in Västmanland County, taken on a float rig baited with sweetcorn in the middle of an August day around half past one.
The fishing was awkward, with gusts reaching towards 10 m/s pushing across the water and making bite detection tricky from the reeds.
Not a big fish, but a welcome one on a breezy afternoon, and duly logged. The exact spot stays hidden by default.
