15 cm Roach

A small roach of 15 cm and 36 g from Eksjöhovgårdssjön in Jönköping County, on water managed by Sävsjöortens fvof. The fish came late in the evening, close to sunset, with the light already fading into dusk.

The catch was made on a hook alone, a simple approach that suited the quiet hour. A full moon stood at 99 per cent illumination over the lake as the day wound down.

Nothing dramatic in the size, but a pleasant fish to round off an evening. The exact spot stays hidden by default.
