65 cm Pike

A midday session at Bredasund brought a pike of 65 cm and just over 2.3 kg to the net. I was fishing on a spinner in copper, working it in with slow, easy movements until the fish took hold.

The wind was up, a mean of around 8 m/s with gusts to 13 m/s, which kept the surface lively through the afternoon. The water sat at 13.5 °C, a touch below the usual band for July.
