38 cm Perch

A solid perch of 38 cm and 698 g came to hand at Örgaveln in Örebro County, in the waters looked after by Storsjöns fvof. The fish took a worm fished on the bottom, brought in during the last of the light around half past nine in the evening.

The catch came at dusk, close to sunset, with the day fading over the lake. The water was on the cool side for August, sitting at about 6.5 °C, just below the usual band for the season.
